The agenda isn’t to provide yet another blog. We want to build a strong community. We want to devised real solutions. Below are some, but not all areas we touch on here at Black Activated.
Understanding how society is engineered and where we fall individually opens up a portal to knowledge of self. We want to create an open dialog between our Diaspora groups to better foster unity. We must all, or at least those who care, find commonality and learn to respect each unique culture.
Factors influencing the construct of race or blackness and black identities from the lens of whiteness.
Our mission is to not only call out the problems besetting the black community, but to follow up the issues with workable and actionable solutions.
So that we not lose sight of where we come from. All too often, and when the stresses of life slowly fade, we become too relaxed and drop the ball. We can not afford to linger on extended political and social vacations. With each passing decade, the system massages our ego lulling us into a false sense of security. As a result, we lose traction on our former gains. We cannot allow the efforts and sacrifices of our forefathers and mothers to sink into dishonor.
It’s no secret that we live under a system worldwide that does not respect or honor the daily realities associated with the classification of blackness. How we qual our collective emotional triggers binding us to micro aggression from actors of the system of white supremacy? Let’s break this down and recover. It’s the only way forward to true empowerment.
